Monday Recap

WE made an offer on a house! There have been many a phone call with our realtor over the weekend, intense negotiations, j/k....but wow am I glad my husband is enjoying handling that part. With fingers crossed and lots of positive thinking/praying it also looks like we will be able to close on the house at the end of May, just like I wanted/needed. Space, enough rooms for all our kin, and a new palette for my designing needs...perfection. Did I mention how clean this house is...makes my heart go pitter patter!
Lets just say the whole process was quite a high stress situation, and its not over yet...moving in a few weeks with 2 small children and a daddy that works insane hours, has grad school assignments due, and a chance to get a decent bonus if he studies for a certification...its a wonder Eric and I haven't killed each other. Okay so maybe we came close last week!

With all the hustle and bustle around these parts, there is not much of an update for the babes. Brooklyn and Grant did sleep thru the night two nights in a row this week, so thats something. Which honestly brings me great joy, knowing it can only get more frequent from here, especially with them being in separate rooms in the new house.

Real life: Grant has shut my computer screen approximately 50 times, attempted to turn off the computer by reaching his lil fingers around the screen to hit the bright blue button, has bang bang banged with his breakfast spoon, and pulled on the power cord....deep breaths....praying for patience. So I'm off to spend some QT with the babes. Lets hope we can get outside today, this weather is killing my motherly mojo.
