Watcha Eating Weight Watchers Wednesday

I have to admit...the month of September I have been a bit lazy! Not hitting my goals of 4-5 work outs a week. The truth of the matter is, I ENJOY working out. I like running, walking, biking, swimming, strength training, all of it! Weird I know. Especially considering my body does not reflect my love for exercise.

Ideally I'd like to be one of THOSE people who workout 6 days a week, wearing whatever they want, having the occasional indulgence without worrying about literally how many pounds am I going to gain from eating this? I think over the years I've told myself so many lies, like...your body is just not that size, you have a bigger build than other women, if you even look at a piece of cheesecake you will gain weight as opposed to other people who could eat like crap and never gain.

Well on this weight loss journey I've realized..skinny people don't eat! I'm not saying they have a problem, I'm just saying I over eat. AND I probably do not burn as many calories as say Gisele Bunchen does while drinking water! So in an effort to stay healthy and keep these 30 LBS off (yup I hit 30 lbs), here are some of my go to images of women that I think are beautiful and more my style/size goal.

Jennifer Lopez
5ft 6in
Size 6

Kate Winslet
5 ft 6
Size 6-8

Me
5ft 7in
Size 16

Only a mere 4-5 sizes difference, but I'm willing to put in the effort.

  1. Congrats on the 30 pounds - that's awesome! I've been doing WW since March and I'm down about 45 pounds - almost to my goal weight. Yay! I'd love to be a size 6 or 8, but I'll very happily be a 10. Just one size away :-)

I've discovered so many great recipes and foods that are healthy and tasty. And I find that once you get into the habit of eating healthy, you're less inclined to eat unhealthy. But of course, a little indulgence now and then is perfectly OK :-)
